I came here for a day with a friend and all I can say is that you will need more than a few days for this trip. I have been here Before with family and we stayed in the Premier inn not so far away for 3 nights and we didnt get round all shops even in that amount of time. Me and my friend had lunch at mcdonalds on level 2 and found that there were not enough tables to eat at. Several people had to get up and stand so that familes with children and babies could sit down. Lakeside would definately benifit from extending their mcdonalds onto another floor but it is definately better than watfords harlequin. Well done again lakeside!!!

Lakeside Shopping Centre is one of the biggest and better shooping malls in London offering affordable prices for quality shopping. It is a definite must see mall.

With a shopping center and outside retail park within a stones throw of each other, there is a huge range of shops. From kitchens, to cars, from to fashion, to electrical.

It has far more budget shops, such as Primark, BHS and Argos. (None of these are at the nearby Bluewater) But lacks a large range of upmarket designer stores.

Food court is situated upstairs. Seating is adequate (apart from the Christmas rush)

Car parking is a plenty, but some spaces are quite narrow.

Multiple ways into the area mean congestion levels are far less than you find at Bluewater during peak times.

Albeit very close to Bluewater, we find the Lakeside Shopping experience a more relaxing and shopper friendly environment. Along with better access and free parking the range of shops within the centre and on the retail areas offer almost everything you could imagine. Although this time of year it is getting quite busy the long opening hours offer the opportunity to fit in some retail therapy after work. Evening appear quite quiet so there is more time to spend that leisurely window shopping. The food court also offers a great range and should suite most palettes. time
