We visited the restaurant on bank holiday Monday. We were seated straight away. The food was fantastic. The steak was very tender and cooked just as I requested. The onion loaf and chips were fresh and very tasty.

My partner enjoyed the cocktails and the desserts were very nice.

We will be back.

DECOR: Generally okay, feels a bit grubby, the banquette we were sat on was ripped several times, it looked like it had been knifed. Felt like I was in a run down Macdonalds.

SERVICE: Poor especially from the manageress, who was just walking up and down the restaurant ignoring tables that needed clearing etc and not actually doing anything. After waiting ages we eventually asked the manager for the bill and she responded 'I'll get your waiter for you' in a way to insinuate we should not have asked her to do such a task. She did attempt to get the waiter but as he now playing bartender she realised she would have to do some work and took the payment for herself. Only thing was she couldn't actually be bothered to stand at the table the whole time and gave me the card machine and said she'd be back in a minute meanwhile our waiter came back and asked, 'what, she just left the card machine with you?' sounding shocked at her unprofessionalism - at least someone was. They were also clearly insufficiently staffed.

FOOD: Hhhmm not sure what to say, my fillet steak was ok, at medium rare it was actually almost rare (which I didn't mind personally) but it was certainly under-cooked, they should be able to cook a steak to the correct temperature in a steak restaurant. The 'surf and turf' side is not recommended, at almost seven quid it was minuscule and a real let down flavour wise. The macaroni cheese was not made with macaroni. My friend said her sirloin was too salty for her too enjoy, mine was also overly salty. The check back was done when we were 3/4ths of the way through our meals, pointless at that point.

ATMOSPHERE: The tables are so close together you almost feel uncomfortable having a conversation as at least 2 other tables will be able to hear you word for word. IT IS FULL OF SCREAMING CHILDREN. Seriously, felt like I was at a Wacky Warehouse.

OVERALL: £90 quid for 2x 3 courses and 4x soft drinks. Really overpriced especially as the atmosphere was poor due to the multiple, loud children/babies in the venue. Could not possibly recommend at such prices for the quality of dining experience we received.

First time to this venue as good as the one in Wolverhampton. Chloe our waitress was smart attentive and very professional. Well done again.

Really disappointed with this branch, not enough staff for a place that big - doesn't help they have to run up and down the stairs to get the good!
Took an hour to get our main course and wasn't offered any additional drinks in between.
Avoid!
