I travelled alone to Waltham Abbey and couldn't have been made more welcome by the landlord Alan. My room was very comfortable and serviced daily. Alan also puts on a traditional English breakfast should you require it.
The house is 110years old and Alan has owned it for 40 years. He converted it to a B & B about 12 years ago.
2 of the double rooms are completely self contained but mine had tea and coffee making faciltities but no microwave, so prepare to eat out in the evenings. The township is an easy 10minute walk away.
There is a bus stop outside the B & B and Alan will give you advice on getting around.
Don't forget to visit the famous Waltham Abbey when you are in the township. This was the last resting place of King Harold.
I would love to stay here again. With my husband next time!
