Owner description: The Queen's Theatre Hornchurch is a vibrant producing theatre in the London Borough of Havering, serving East London, Essex and beyond since 1953. As a registered charity and the cultural hub of the region, over 200,000 people enjoy the theatre's programme every year, including the best in home-produced theatre, visiting live entertainment and inspiring Learning and Participation projects. Behind the scenes almost all of our sets and costumes are all lovingly created on-site by our highly skilled carpentry workshop, scenic artists and wardrobe department. The Queen's receives regular funding from the London Borough of Havering and is an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation. This helps us put theatre at the heart of the cultural life of the community we serve.

Often visit Queens Theatre. Pleasant surroundings. Saw the above performance and really enjoyed the show. Funny, well acted and good singing.

This is a great smaller theatre, but it has a great stage and seating, and close parking, but go early as this get's full. It puts on a good selection of work, and the prices are good.

Very disappointed with this production bearing in mind the write-up stated 8 years upwards. The language/innuendo was far too advanced for this age group and they completely "lost the plot". The youngsters in the audience were fidgety and it was hard to persuade my two grandchildren to come back in after the interval.
I have no complaints whatsoever about the theatre itself, it is comfortable, good views from all seats but in this case the production was not suitable for this age group. The highlight of the evening which caused a laugh was when one scared little girl in the audience shouted out "I want to go home" after Ben Gunn ran through the aisle onto the stage!

My wife and I have been here many times and recently we saw a farce which was very funny. The seats are comfortable, the view as good as any and the whole production very professional. The bar was very welcoming and made it a very pleasant evening out.
