Staff were very pleasant. The decor and surroundings were very nice; quite a modern/contemporary decor. The food let it down. food below average. the variety of rices and plain nan bread were particularly substandard and tasteless.

Cinnamon Spice is a regular haunt for both my friends and family. The great value Banquet special offer than runs from Sunday through to Thursday is excellent value. Something like £10.95 per person and for that you get a starter, a main dish, rice, vegetable side dish, a nan bread and a coffee.
The menu is extensive and they will cook dishes that aren't on the menu too. My Mum, for example, always orders garlic rice, which doesn't feature on the menu, yet they'll always make it for her, no problem. The portions are very generous, there is always food left over but for the price, it's well worth going for the Banquet deal.
On the down side, some dishes can occasionally be a little oily but I've experienced that in a lot of other Indian restaurants so I wouldn't mark them down for this. You get to know what dishes tend to be oily and avoid them.
The service is usually very efficient thought I have known it to be a little slow in busier times, but at the end of the day, as long as you're not in a hurry and are with good company, you don't really notice and the food makes up for it (don't get me wrong, you really don't have to wait that long).
The restaurant itself is clean, nicely presented and has a pleasant atmosphere.

Been coming here for some years. Excellent value on banquet night with classic dishes, you will never leave hungry. Lovely friendly service with pleasant waiters who do their best to remember your favorite meal even when you can't. One complaint is that their korma sauce has recently become far too sweet. My last visit was for a fun Elvis night out & was surprised at how good it was albeit far too loud (definitely not for a date night but highly recommended.

We went on a Saturday night. Pleasant modern decor and background music. The staff and owner Mr Ahmed are very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. Will be going again. Highly recommended.

I have visited this restaurant a number of times and they never fail to disappoint. The set menu 6 course banquet for £10.75 is excellent value for money. All the dishes are cooked to perfection and are tasty and flavoursome.

During my last visit they cooked dishes that were not listed on the menu and have cooked subtitute dishes for my partner when she has not wanted the dish from the menu.

The house wine is £10.45 a bottle and is of a good quality, suprising for the price and location.

The service has always been excellent and there is plenty of parking outside.

Their website has not been updated for years though??
