We recently stayed at Pontlands Park whilst attending the Olympics. It was a brilliant choice. The hotel is a pleasure to be in and most comfortable, the gardens are lovely and peaceful and quiet - a welcome change to the hustle and bustle of central London.
The staff were friendly and helpful and could not have done more for us. It is perfectly situated for a quick and easy journey into central London and I would very much recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to stay whilst attending the para olympics or just visiting London on business or for pleasure.

Room tip: Take the advice of the staff!

We were guests at a wedding on 4/8/12 the food ,the service ,the comfortable beds and clean rooms were very welcoming, i stayed with my husband and three children, we was late comimg down for breakfast all that was available was cereal and toast which we were happy to have this but when the waitress approached us i asked if there was any cooked breakfast left we were offered a fresh full english which was very substantial as we were traveling four hours to return home, a highly recomended hotel.

We stayed at Pontlands to celebrate our wedding anniversary and use it as an easy route to the Olympics. We had the luxurious room number 50 which was a real treat, recently refurbished to an excellent standard. We had a wonderful meal in the restaurant, served by attentive and friendly staff. A taxi was organised to take us to the station after taking advice from the staff on the parking at the train station. Everyone was very friendly, so much so I have booked us in for another two nights next week when I am taking my mother and baby to the Olympics. I can be confident that we will be well looked after.

I travel frequently with work, these days one hotel rolls into another. However this hotel stood out. It was one of the best hotels ive stayed in this year. I cant say enough about the staff and management, i felt like i was stayin with friends, the hotel is so homely is doesnt feel like a hotel at all. Great country location, great food onsite and the nicest bedroom ive ever stayed in!
Wonderful out door areas with pool, and jacuzi also indoor pool ftness center and spa.
Ill be returning for a holiday next time.

Room tip: Ask for a room in the main house

I guess this hotel is under redecoration as the lobby and bar area are fantastic, food is genuinely gastro pub fare in the lounge - very nice. But rooms are a let down - once they are done to a contemporary style this will be a gem of a place.

Thank you for your comments following your recent visit to Pontlands Park.
We are in the middle of a £1million refurbishment programme which includes bedrooms and the public areas, 15 bedrooms have been completed so far but this has to stop during our busy summer wedding season but will start again later this year and continue in to 2013.
I'm glad you enjoyed your visit and the new lounge menu.
We hope to see you back when you are next in the area and to show you the new look bedrooms.
