“Going to be amazing.”
Reviewed October 7, 2012

Lovely gardens but slightly limited in size. Will be brilliant when it's all finished - looks like a long job! Food not wonderful although the setting in the barn cafe is lovely. Shop and plants very expensive. Nice for a few hours out but not for a long day trip. Hard work pushing a wheelchair.

“Lovely Hyde Hall”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

A place to walk through and enjoy a lovely lake to spend time by. The plants and flowers are stunning, visited at Spring time but, would like to think i will return soon to view in another season. There is also a garden sales area so you can bag a bargain or two

“Lovely gardens”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

Hyde Hall has beautiful and extensive gardens, giving lovely walks. Recently re-designed entrance includes lots of parking, and a lovely cafe/shop. Entrance to these is not through the gardens entrance gate so you do not have to pay just to go to the cafe, as used to be the case. Plants for sale often look tired though - disappointing.

“A Good Autumn Day”
Reviewed September 29, 2012

The day started cloudy with a fresh wind, but later the sun appeared. The Gardens came up to my expectations and with its hilltop setting was unusual. The grasses were particularly fascinating and the Autum colour was spectacular. They are obviously proud of their grass management and quite rightly so. The Barn Restaurant was pleasant albeit the Fishermans Pie a bit unusual with its 3" high flaky pastry topping, difficult to keep yourself and your table tidy. The plant centre was impressive and I got some good half price seasonal reductions. All in all a good day, well worth the drive from Central London.

“Beautiful, worth a visit”
Reviewed September 18, 2012

Stumbled across this lovely RHS garden and so pleased we did. Thoroughly recommended, a real treat. The entrance fee was a little pricey but we joined the RHS so it was worthwhile.
