We stayed here 2 nights and enjoyed it. Many of the rooms are on the central garden and therefore quite quiet. It is in a busy area so it really is an oasis of green and quiet, with a history dating back many centuries. The restaurant was quite good and gorgeous. The rooms were large and comfortable and well appointed.
My only complaints are the wifi, which was fine for the laptop but absolutely useless for my mobile phone ( same for my colleague) unless you were in the main reception area.
I would also say the cold buffet was a bit feeble, especially for the price, but there were some redeeming surprises like the dried apricots were chopped up for you and the pain au chocolat was far better than most on the continent !
But I'm general is was a peaceful and enjoyable place to stay and I would certainly go back again happily. More
