As long as you get away from all the peolpe with their dogs Ashdown Forest is a beautiful place to visit, although I prefer the New Forest. Even so, where we are on the forest we have deer, badgers, ducks etc constantly visiting our garden!

Well worth a visit & try to include The Hatch Inn at Coleman's Hatch!

The forest is a remnant of a much larger forest now developed and transformed. The forest undulates and provides excellent walking. You may see adders in spring or a migrating Osprey. You can play at Pooh sticks bridge or stop for a pint in one of the village pubs. I love it and wish i went there more often

We travel through here this week and were amazed at the gorgeous autumn colours. It doesn't get better than this. So clean and the sun was shining. Went 2 days on the trot as wanted to view it all again.

The ashdown forest has so many different walks, views and attractions that you can visit it at all different times of the year and see something different every time. Great place to spend a day or longer. Blots for all the family and plenty to see in the nearby villages and towns.

What a lovely charming woodland where you can play Pooh sticks and imagine being with all the characters from the books. The forest is beautiful.
