I stayed here with my gorgeous girlfriend and we loved the big room and the lovely big bed. The decor and furniture was very individual. Not your typical hotel room stuff. The bathroom was really nice as well, and I loved the large ornate taps on the bath. The food in the restaurant was nice as well, and the breakfast was just perfect. I would recommend it but I'm trying to keep it a secret so it doesn't get full up next time I want to stay there.

A very enjoyable stay at Sedlescombe whilst on a 3 day golf school.
Restaurant for breakfast (exceptional local bacon), lunch and dinner, food excellent quality with friendly efficient service.
Room was comfortable and well appointed but lacked a shower which I would really have liked after working hard on the golf range.
Having stayed in the area for business also I know that Sedlescombe is well situated for local amenities and attractions.

You can expect more than a 3 star hotel when you check in.
Large, clean and quiet rooms. Hotel is located at a beauttifull place, has good service and good breakfast.
I would only suggest a curtain in the bath to avoid water to go out when you take a bath.

Combining golf-school and a relaxing hotel experience, very good indeed!!! we had a marvellous experience, both on the course and staying at the hotel. Jusst a few metres to the clubhouse and the very good restaurant.

It was a very pleasant surprise to find 5 star accommodation awaiting us at the hotel, an enormous room, and even more enormous bathroom, his and her basins, cavernous corner bathing area is a better description than a bath. A view over the 10th tee, through dappled trees and grass from the secluded balcony. The foyer had a huge flower arrangement which was a delightful fragrance when we came and went, walking the short distance past the putting greens to the clubhouse, and the superb catering. We were on a three day golf teaching course, the hotel and food standard were a very pleasant bonus, and the staff are an example of how service should be, well done.

Room Tip: Ground floor with a view to the course

We know where to return when we are in the area. We aren't golfers but the rooms were lovely, we liked the bath, the staff were friendly and the food very good. Only slight complaint was the heating was a bit tricky to get the hang of

We have stopped several times at the Sedlescombe Golf hotel using it as a hotel rather than a golf venue. The staff are friendly and helpful and although we are not golfers all the people there are also friendly and welcoming. Food at night and at breakfast is of a high quality. Not a particularly extensive menu but that is to be expected when food is cooked fresh for you.

Rooms are large and comfortable. You get two sinks in the bathroom !
