This is my second visit this year. The site is a basic site, in that is has no pool and clubhouse. If you want a site right next to a shingle beach, this is the one to go for! Reading the reviews it seems people are having trouble with rude staff. My experience was that they were fine and gave me no trouble at. Great for people would want to beach caste and fish from the shingle. My only gripe was that it was expensive. £43 for two nights mid September is a bit steep for limited facilities on site and I was a club member.

Had been here once before, only when we arrived we remembered we didnt like the site. The good point is that it is very close to the sea. Very busy and ideal for family's but does therefore make it a very noisy site. The site is large, the toilet blocks at the far end are clean and tidy but the one at the top of the site is not pleasant. Unfortunately this site is not a great representation of camping and caravan club sites. A huge let down.
The staff were unhelpful and rude. I hope that when a new season begins they chamge the staff, because the current ones ruin the site.

We recently stayed at the bank holiday weekend and found this to be the worst campsite we have ever stayed at ! The staff were very unfriendly and rude, the facilities onsite were very basic and poorly maintained, laughter and fun is definitely out of the question if you fancy enjoying yourself on a break away camping please find an alternative camp site to visit !

Room Tip: Go somewhere else !

We recently stayed here with two other families for the bank holiday weekend, the staff are so rude and aggressive towards you it's quite frightening. they need to remember that people are away on their holidays and to be polite at least. Their customer service skills are disgraceful, they have no manners. My 6 year old son has more manners. I was so disappointed, it wasn't the weather that ruined our weekend it was the campsite owners.

All i can say is, there is a reason why they haven't won an award since 2007. I certainly won't be going back again or recommending it to anyone.

We booked this site by mistake, normally stay at Bay View. Arrived at the site on a windy day and got shown to our pitch. Pitching the tent was a nightmare and we broke a pole.
This campsite is geared towards caravans and tourers, I would not recommend camping on this site. The toilets and shower blocks towards the bottom end of the site are adequate and clean. The older toilet and shower blocks could do with some refurbishment.

The shop is very small and not very well stocked, also it only takes cash. The campsite office does take card payments!

Most of staff where very unfriendly and I felt like they where rude, the site manger is also very rude. Maybe they forget your on holiday!!
Here is a tip, try smiling and being more welcoming.

This is a great campsite, in a lovely location. The pitches are a good size with great views, and the best thing is that the beach is just over the road. The facilities were clean and well looked after and the staff were all really friendly. We will definitely go there again.

I visited the site to find out the costs with a view to book a large party of family members for a week end break in August. When I arrived at reception, we were surprised to find the very rude welcome by their reception staff. All we asked was if we could take a look at the facilities to see if it was suited for our visit.
The receptionist refused us point blank to go on site and her attitude was so rude that we left without booking and decided to give Normans bay a wide berth (not a good start ) First impressions.........extremely rude and uninviting.
