We stayed here on Fri July 29th and Sat July 30th to attend a family wedding in the area, 2 couples and 2 singles, all 45+ and occupying 4 rooms.
I have stayed in many Premier Inns and this rates very highly. The staff were very helpful and accommodating, transferring us to a more suitable room very quickly when we pointed out that the very soft mattress in our room was not suitable for me, as I have a back problem. They also provided a comfortable armchair in my elderly mother's room, as she has bad arthritis.
The weather was hot and electric table fans had been provided in the rooms. Our room on the gournd floor was, however, still quite stuffy.
"The Drove" restaurant attached to the hotel provides good quality, well-served and reasonably priced food - we ate dinner and 2 breakfasts there and were very satisfied.
However, having to pay £92 per night (not inc breakfast) was, I felt, a bit steep. We booked well in advance, checking the website on numerous occasions, but no special offers were ever available at this site for our dates. We have stayed in many Premier Inns and have never had to pay more than £60 per night.
However, overall, a very positive experience - all was clean and comfortable and the service was excellent. Definitely recommended!

I usually opt for premier inns for overnight stays for business trips as I have always found the beds very large and comfortable, the rooms, clean and spacious, they always have good parking and often have a restaurant attached. This premier inn was no exception, lots of parking and a restaurant. As an added bonus, the hotel was right next to a Sainsbury's supermarket and a newspaper shop, so if you had forgotten anything, they were 2 mins walk away! A McDonalds is a bit further down the road along with a retail outlet.
I always use the Premier Inn website to book rooms as it is user friendly and you have the option to receive text message reminders about your stay and postcode details straight to your phone.

Room Tip: Top floor rooms can often mean less noise as you have no rooms overhead!

Excellent position for the ferry to France. The Premier Inn Newhaven was up to the usual standard of the brand. We were welcomed in hotel and restaurant and have no complaints. Slight niggle that the bedroom was too hot, but then it was during our brief 'Summer'

Staff were superb. We arrived later than expected following a cycle ride from London and onward to Paris. Food was due to finish but we had rung in advance to warn of out late arrival. We were assured food would be put aside if we did not arrive in time. We were supplied with a superb 3 course meal late in the evening. The staff could not have been more helpful following quite a fraught day of cycling in rain and wind all day.
Dryer was available to sortt out all our wet gear and rooms were large enough to store our bikes.

We stayed with a group of 30 people for one night at the Premier Inn and I was really surprised how fast we checked in though it was already late in the evening.
The rooms are ok, spacious and except from some details in the bathroom clean.
Breakfast was ok, not spectacular and the checkout was very easy and quick, too.

Ask for a downstairs room if you've got a bike. Ask for a 7.30 breakfast if you're catching the morning ferry

Stayed for three nights at the end of May. Having tickets for the Brighton Fringe we tried several Brighton Hotels, but they either did not have parking spaces or they wanted to charge a small fortune for the facility. The Newhaven Premier Inn is only a number 12 bus ride away and is a very pleasant stay.

This Inn shares an approach road with Sainsbury's and this proved to be a very useful neighbour while there – eg full English breakfast only £3.49. Very welcome as the pub/restaurant was always packed but seemed rather mediocre.
