Arriving at 1pm on a Friday, we were hoping for a tasty lunch... and were not disappointed. The menu on the tables, consisting of four laminated pages, unusually has the drinks on the first two pages, and the food at the back of the booklet; we missed these, and so ordered from the displayed specials boards. Two of our group had ham, double egg and chips, and another member of the group had a cheese omelet; all three meals were first class, tasty, well cooked and nicely presented. The service was also friendly and prompt.
