Comfortable, clean, very well equipped, holiday accommodation within easy access of local amenities. Starter pack of milk, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits an added bonus.
The location of these cottages is perfect close to the village but private too with fields around you. Very quiet and relaxing spot with plenty of places to walk and take a dog. The cottage itself is very spacious extremely clean and with all mod cons Terri has thought of everything even including tea items and fresh milk on your arrival and a booklet showing local attractions and places to eat. Our family really enjoyed our stay here and I would definitely recommend them to anyone. If we ever get the chance to return to this part of England we will definitely use these cottages.
I stayed here last week with my mum and sister and we were blown away with how wonderful the cottage was.
The property has been beautifully built on the site of a former dairy parlour and it has been stunningly finished, beautiful exposed beams and wooden flooring, It's incredibly spacious and light and airy.
There was room for 2 cars which was great news for us. There is also a BBQ outside and although we didn't use it I believe you can also purchase charcoal on site? A really lovely table and bench is outside as well.
Inside there is an open plan kitchen-living-diner with gorgeous wooden table and chairs, a sofa, armchair and a smart TV (which has netflix, iPlayer, youtube apps pre-installed).
The kitchen has ample utensils, cutlery and crockery, they even have a selection of kid plates, bowls and cutlery which I thought was a really nice touch!
There is a washing machine and dishwasher with tablets provided for both, as well as washing up liquid, cleaners etc.
The bathroom is also supplied with luxury handwashes, shampoo and conditioner.
Beds are super comfy and a lovely size, bedding is clean and comfy.
The area itself is super quiet and surrounded by fields. There are ample walks from the property and Battle Abbey is a 5-10 minute walk from the cottage.
Free wi-fi is included. I didn't have any phone signal (02) but with the wi-fi I was still able to make calls and receive i-messages/emails.
Overall I had a wonderful stay, so much so we've booked to come again next month.
We had a courtesy visit on the day to check we'd settled in ok and to ask if we needed anything. Terrie and Sharon the owners also emailed to make sure that everything was ok.
I 100% recommend this place. It's beautiful here! So so quiet!
My Mum and I stayed at 2 Abbey View earlier this month and could not have been happier. Peace and tranquility itself.
The cottage was spotlessly clean with plenty of fluffy towels and crisp white bed linen. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need and the tea, coffee, milk, sugar & biscuits were very welcome. The sofas were comfortable in the lounge area and we were surprised to find Netflix on the TV.
Both bedrooms were large enough and the beds comfortable. The bathroom had a powerful shower over the bath and a welcome surprise of luxury toiletries.
Terrie was very welcoming and helpful and even managed to find us a fan to use during the hot weather.
A truly wonderful property which we look forward to visiting again when we are next in the area.
