Booked this hotel based on reviews. However, the windows on our room (and most of the other upstairs windows) are in need of repair. Our window did not shut, the weather was very windy and cold, hence our room had a permanent cold draft. The extractor fan in the bathroom rattled all night. There was no hot water on the first morning of our stay, and the shower had no power. The curains in the dinning area where filthy dirty, and the service on the first morning was awful, there was only one person doing everything it would appear. I ordered porridge for breakfast, but could not eat it as it was made with cream, so were the scrambled eggs, and the fish pie we ate the night before. Very nice if you like eating cream with everything, but it made me feel ill. Would not stay at this hotel again, as there are plenty of nice hotels in suffolk.
