The Late rooms deal sounded too good to be true and it was. Blyth hotel needs a good clean and coat of paint. My beer glass was dirty and the room furniture cheap and nasty. The cooked breakfast was Ok but very poor cold buffet - no fruit at all.
Staff were cheerful and friendly other wise may well have left after one night.

What can we say but an Excellent stay. All staff polite, pleasant and very helpful. A very good choice for breakfast all beautifully cooked and presented. Evening meals we ate in both the restaurant and the bar and the food was equally as good in either as cooked and presented very well . The fish and chips from the bar menu would be highly recommended as they were the best we have had in years! Our room (6) was very pleasant and had a balcony so would be a nice place to sit on a nice evening. Would certainly return

Room Tip: Room 6 had a balcony

Very friendly, welcoming hotel, the staff were helpful and made our two night break a real treat. The food was so good we ate at the hotel both nights, the breakfasts were well presented, wholesome with a good selection. Room 10 was a nice bright sunny room in the afternoon, but was starting to look tired and needed some decoration, the bed was a bit firm and the shower difficult to regulate. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

Great stay. Friendly staff, great location, decent food and beer. Nice size rooms and great value as got a groupon deal. Would definitely stay there again. Only downside was car park being a little small. Plenty of other parking though so only being picky. All round brilliant stay :)

So good I wouldn't want to tell too many people about it in case it was fully booked when we wanted to return! Food excellent: dinner a varied menu well cooked and presented, breakfast imaginative, staff pleasant and helpful.

Despite the very poor weather, our recent stay at the hotel was lovely. We liked our room, it was quiet, clean and large.
We like the location of the hotel, it is near the town centre and sea, but quiet enough in the evening for a decent rest. The hotel has by far the largest choice for cooked breakfast and the evening meals did not disappoint. The service was also exceptional.
We feel that the hotel should mention on its site that it has ample parking space which is always an added bonus these days.
Highly recommended.
