We chose to go here on a wet windy day during our stay in Southwold. We walked down from the Common where we were staying clutching our wine bread and salad. We selected our fish rather than have just one of the set platters. The fish was superb and we had a table in the window looking out back to the Common. We did have to eat in our coats as there did not appear to be any heating in the place. We bought some fish from the shop to take home with us. We decided not to have coffee in the smoke shop next door as that too was open to the elements. We walked back to Southwold for a hot drink. Anyone who likes fish must experience this place.
