We were made very welcome here, and had an excellent breakfast. The bedroom (overlooking the garden) was extremely clean and nicely decorated. The double bed is very soft, if that matters to you.

I would happily stay here again for an overnight, it is well priced and very pleasant.

However the bedroom and particularly the ensuite are very tight for space which would make me think twice about a longer stay, or a stay in bad weather when I might need to spend more time in the room.

This is a charming B&B about 15 mins walk from the sea. The ownders are friendly and obliging and the room was spotless and comfortable. we had an ensuite bathroom which was great and a nice view over their back garden. The room we had is called Oyster Catcher. the room and the whole of the B&B in fact is nicley presented and branded.

Room Tip: Ask for Oyster Catcher. It is nice with ensuite facilities and looks out on the back garden.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Jasmine to celebrate my partner's 65th birthday.
Selected this b&b mainly from other reviews on trip advisor and certainly we were not disappointed. Roger and Sue are absolutely lovely people, friendly helpful and we felt we had known them for ages. We stayed in the Kittiwake room, which is in the front of the bungalow and although a little on the small side it was fine for our short stay very clean and with an excellent comfy bed and lovely white bedding. The back garden is huge and there is a table and chairs for guests use if required. Roger is brilliant for local information regarding places to eat, walks and places to visit. Breakfast is first class with a great choice which is very well cooked and the full english is a winner. Nothing is too much trouble for Roger and his friendly personality shines through. We did a great walk to Walberswick via the tracks and along the waters edge and returned via the "ferry" (which is a must for fun, its actually a rowing boat which goes back and forth for 90p). Walberswick it a quaint place with two brilliant pubs, a couple of brilliant tea rooms and gift shops. Go there you will not be disappointed. Another tip - visit Tilly's Tea Room in Southwold its brilliant lovely selection of hot and cold food and very friendly service.
All in all the Jasmine is a first class b&b and we will definitely go back when we return to Southwold. Many thanks Roger and Sue, Hope business continues to go well.

At the end of our trip around English counties, this was our last stop and it was fabulous. We were made so welcome by Roger with coffee in the garden, and lots of recommendations of where to visit and eat. The room and bathroom were sparkling clean with a very generous refreshments tray. Breakfast was fantastic with fresh fruits and beautifully cooked full English and smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. We will definitely be visiting again!

Charming hosts who could not be more helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

The room was comfy and the bathroom spotlessly clean, both were freshly decorated. It is obvious that both hosts take their role very seriously and take trouble to make guests welcome.

This is the sort of place that you will come back to.

As a treat ask Roger about the kippers for breakfast.

The location is good, just a few minutes walk out of town so you do not have to take the car and try to park in the busy town. It is far enough out to avoid the crowds and much pricier venues to stay at.....and possibly not as good!

I travel a great deal on business and for leisure and will find it dificult to find a more charming place to stay...thoroughly recommended, excellent value.

Room Tip: The room at the back has a lovely view over the large garden and is lovely to wake up to.
