50's American diner set-up - vinyl LP's on the wall, spotted tablecovers and red plastic chairs.
We had the fresh cod an chips for £7.95 - recommended in a nice light batter covering. Lots of other things on the menu - burgers, salads, breakfast etc but it's a shame not to have fish by the seaside...
Fast and polite service at the counter, very clean tables and the wonderful retro atmosphere make the Ferry café worth a visit.
No free car park - it costs £1.50 to park outside
The tables are pretty rammed in - a struggle to move in and out unless you are very thin
No toilets - you need to use the public ones opposite
No table service - you queue and order at the counter
But notwithstanding this is great Café and very popular. Come early at busy lunchtimes!
