Took our American bird watching friends for a visit and they were very impresses. A great place with a large selection of birds to watch even for early October when migrating birds had left and others still hadn't arrived. All in all a great day

Not being a twitcher myself I was a tad reluctant to visit. However, the nature reserve has a stunning other worldly quality that I was glad I did not miss. The reserve leads down to a glorious, almost deserted beach on which I lay & contemplated life whilst my husband geeked out with his binoculars.

This is one of North Norfolk's most popular reserves and rightly so. Starting with the nearest, freshwater lagoon with its reed beds, you'll walk past two more lagoons with increasing salinity until you reach Titchwell's beautiful golden sands.

Excellent value for money. One car full costs £5. There is good walking lots of hides and plenty of birds to see.

Love coming back here on our annual visit to the North Norfolk Coast. Usual suspects present and always the chance of a new bird - for us anyway. This year it was Grey Phalarope. Failed to spot the dotterel in the midst of the hundreds of golden plover ! handy café and shop selling optics bird food and gift ideas.

Thanks William for reviewing your visit to us. Very pleased to hear you enjoyed you visit and got a new bird - finding the dotterel challenged many of our visitors so you were not alone! we hope you are able to return again soon.
