Not been here before, what a pleasant surprise! Nicely decorated and furnished pub for the more discerning customer. Simple meals freshly cooked and well presented. Staff very accommodating. Looking forward to trying a steak night

Had sunday carvery here, little more expensive than other places but food was tasty and of good quality. There was a choice of three meats, I just had the beef and got several nice thick slices of tender, tasty meat. Plenty of vegetables available and they were much nicer than the usual frozen fare you get at chain carvery pubs (though could still be slightly more al-dente for my taste). Definitely recommend saving some room for the lovely desserts!

The pub was busy whilst we were there and had a lovely atmosphere, all the staff were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Nice choice of beers and wines. Toilets were spotlessly clean. Will try and visit again next time we're in the area maybe on one of their grill nights.

This pub has become a popular choice for many 'locals', following a programme of improvement by new hosts.
Food is now served more extensively and Sunday Lunch is very popular. The real ale is very well 'looked after'.

We went to the Station in Swaffham for a carvery on a Sunday. There was 13 of us including four children and 2 coeliacs who cant eat gluten. The food was lovely and the landlord and landlady were extremely accomodating with regards to our dietary requirements. The meal was not rushed and all the waitresses were friendly. A good pub, we shall be going again.

Pub that has very recently been refurbished and was previously known as the Norfolk Hero. Always has a very good selection of real ales as well as other beers and lagers.

Food was very good. We went on a Sunday and the meat was served straight from the kitchen. Choice from four roasts. Vegs are in the bar. Desserts were good and would particularly recommend the cheeseboard.

All waitresses and staff were very friendly thought.

Would thoroughly recommend for a visit.
