“Beautiful Stay in Stiffkey”
Reviewed April 8, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

A wonderful cosy cottage in an ideal location for walking and dog friendlyness. Stayed with three dogs and had a lovely time. Lots of walks which we all enjoyed. Evenings spent by the log fire.
Local pub serves good food and beers and dog friendly too

“Trip into old England”
Reviewed January 19, 2016 for a stay in January 2016

This cottage was perfect, chance to experience a break from the digital mayhem, no WIFI or 4G which, actually was a nice change. The owner had arranged coal, kindling and fire lights if I need them, the kitchen was compact but had everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable, the electric meter was easy to operate, plenty of books to chose from if I wanted to read including a visitors book. As for the location, Stiffkey is between Wells-next-the-sea and Cromer, I followed the 3.5 mile costal walk to Wells-next-the-sea, wondered around, had a coffee and cake in a nice dog friendly cafe then jumped on the coast hopper bus for the short ride back to the cottage. Holkham is about 10/15 minute drive and has an amazing beach, best in the UK apparently. I hope to return to Mount Tabor cottage again one day.

This wonderful cottage is so thoughtfully equipped. Every need is catered for. The situation is just great (once you manage to manoeuvre the car into position!). It's perfect for exploring the North Norfolk coast or for just opposing into the pub opposite. All very dog friendly too.
We had a truly relaxing winter break and will book again.
I have already recommended to two friends :)

“The most well equipped place Ive ever stayed”
Reviewed July 26, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Beautiful, quaint little place and absolutely spotless when I arrived. The owners have provided just about everything you could think of, from baking foil to DVDs and a sewing kit, which really makes it a home from home. The dinky size of the cottage makes it so cosy and it was just right for me and my cat. The numerous tourism leaflets and little pointers for things to do were very useful, as was the emergency £1 for the meter...!
All in all, a great last-minute find for me; I would whole-heartedly recommend this for a couple or solo traveller, particularly as it is also a pet-friendly property. Thank you to Pat and Roger for all your help and contact prior to my visit, it was very much appreciated, lovely that you obviously care so much that your guests have an enjoyable stay. :)

“A fantastic get a way”

I visited this charming cottage with my two dogs in April this year - delightful - In fact prior to leaving I re-booked for a week this month. Deep joy to have found the perfect bolt hole for us. It had everything I needed including a lovely deep bath and sitting in front of coal fire in the evenings, after a day of walking in stunning beauty. My dogs were in paradise.

The stop for the coastal hopper is a minutes walk from the cottage - it's perfectly situated for beautiful walks along the coast. There's plenty of information on all the attractions you may wish to visit.

I'm looking forward to my return visit next week.

“Lovely quaint cottage”
Reviewed April 25, 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Booking was easy and information sent by owner prior to visit was extremely useful. We found the cottage was well equiped, well cared for and very comfortable. It was in a very central position for birding along the Norfolk coast. The village had a lovely local shop and a pub in walking distance. We had a lovely holiday being very lucky with the weather, but there are plenty of places of interest around the area if weather is not so good.
