We visited Sheringham for a walking weekend away from London. Our experience at Myrtle House was very pleasant, starting with being picked up from the station - a first for us - and most welcome. We received plenty of helpful local advice on restaurants, pubs and walking routes. The room itself (upstairs no. 2) was rather small with a soft mattress (bad for my back), and the house WiFi didn't reach the room, but these were small niggles. A decent cooked breakfast started our walking days. We'd definitely stay again.

Were not normally B&B fans, when we go away we generally stay in large hotels, however, this was a first and we were pleasantly surprised. We stayed one night in a double room.

We received a lovely warm welcome, and were offered tea or coffee, with biscuits and cake. The room was very clean and airy. Bed was very comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. Woken only by the dawn chorus. Breakfast was perfect, with choice of cereals and juice, as well as a very tasty and filling full English breakfast.

Great location, with the town only about 5 minutes walk away.

Diane, Debbie and Steve made us feel very welcome, and gave us good advise on where to eat in sheringham for our evening meal.

A great find and will definitely book in again.

Another excellent stay at myrtle house, my fifth visit! Very friendly and helpful, lovely breakfasts and immaculate bedroom. The town is within easy walking distance either via the cliff top or by the gentler route through the streets. a great place to visit, with good places to eat and lots of fascinating gift shops. It's within easy reach of many other villages and sites either by car or the coastal hopper bus or quaint steam or diesal railway. A great place for families or single people and Debbie, Diane and Steve always make you feel very welcome at their B&B.

Room Tip: The rooms at the top have a good view and are very peaceful but the stairs could be difficult if you...

We have just returned after two lovely days at Myrtle House. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. Our room was spotlessly clean and had everything we required for a very comfortable and quiet stay. Breakfast was top class and cooked and presented perfectly. The location was great with the cliffs and coastal path easily accessed through the back gate. We had a great time and would like to thank Diane, Debbie and Steve for their warmth and hospitality and for making our stay such an enjoyable one. The only downside was that we couldn't stay on for a few days longer!

Room Tip: We had the twin room on the ground floor which was lovely.

Just returned home from out stay at myrtle house b+b. We really enjoyed it and were made very welcome and at ease. The place is beautiful, clean and very homely. The location is perfect, it's 5 mins walk into the town, and if you go out the back way you can walk on the top of the cliffs for miles. The staff were very friendly and we wouldn't hesitate to come back

I was looking for a peaceful place, where I could write a couple of important things, and have walks by the sea, preferably including cliff paths. This is just perfect: Di, Debbie and Steve know how to tune in to personal needs and made every effort to make me feel at home. This is not somewhere one is pitched out after breakfast, but an informal relaxed and welcoming place, a fridge with milk, tea and coffee on tap, and a dining room for residents' use all day and evening. The house is charming, the beds comfortable, and being able to walk out of the back door onto the Coastal Path is terrific. Turn right and over the cliffs towards Cromer; left and an easy walk into Sheringham where there are plenty of good pubs - (Adnams and Greene King beers plus micro breweries) - shops, tearooms and restaurants. I will certainly return.
