We saw a play here midweek, Deathtrap, which we enjoyed very much. We returned on the Sunday evening to see a film, Summer in February. It's an excellent use of a dead night and good value too.

Great evening and wonderful theatre. Make sure you visit if in North Norfolk. There is a cinema as well on some days.

Converted from an old cinema right in the centre of Sheringham, the Little Theatre provides a wonderful intimate venue for its annual summer rep season (apparently one of the last surviving in England). Out of season it provides a venue for am-dram, concerts and one-off performances as well as cinema. I saw Les Miserables there with their new digital projection and sound system and it was incredible to go to a cinema where people were not munching popcorn or drinking vats of Coca-Cola. Only 180 seats but a standing ovation at the end - unusual for a film. Apparently there is a small number of full-time employees who run the venue aided by a dedicated team of volunteers who provide the back-up including the café, the Hub in daytime, which becomes the bar in the evening and it really is a hub for this small North Norfolk town

Six men played for one hour, a break for half an hour and then for a further hour without one note of sheet music. They were brilliant
