“Canary cottage”
Reviewed July 7, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

We have been visiting Sheringham for the past 8 years having found what we thought was the perfect cottage for us. However, the owners decided to sell and the new owners barred dogs.
Putting the disappointment to one side we searched for other likely places. Canary cottage came up on several sites. We booked for May. What a delight! Although very slightly further from town, it was even more perfect in several respect. Great welcome package, parking right outside (not necessarily guaranteed but ample parking close by), enclosed garden (great for dogs or children and great walks direct from the front door.
We're booked to go back in September!!!

“Very Welcoming and Homely Cottage”

Canary cottage is the most well equipped cottage we have stayed in, and the
warmth of the welcome with the comfortable furnishings is all one needs
for a holiday in a great area.

“The Perfect Holiday Rental!”
Reviewed November 7, 2017 for a stay in October 2017

Wonderful location. Lovely cottage - very clean & the owners have thought of everything. Milk in the fridge when we got there plus a delicious home made cake. Jan popped over on our first day to welcome us & ask if there was anything we needed.
Sheringham is lovely & the beach looked very inviting but perhaps not in chilly November!
Lots to see & do without going too far away. We would recommend the seal trip at Blakeney, beach walk at Brancaster, and Blickling Estate. We also liked Cromer and Wells (can recommend The Picnic Hut).
Lots of places for lunch in Sheringham. For evening meals we would highly recommend The Dunstable Arms - short walk from cottage, or The Foundry Arms in Northrepps - about a 7 mile drive.
We had a lovely holiday & would definitely rent Canary Cottage again.

What a lovely warm, comfortable and clean cottage . The owner's Jan and Dave are lovely , they were very helpful . Jan baked us a delicious cake . The cottage has all mod cons and has ample parking . Lovely garden . The cottage is close to several shops and it's a short walk into Sheringham . We would definitely recommend this accommodation .
We are thinking about going back next year
