The welcome we recieved was the best we have ever had, even being offered a quality glass of sherry which was most welcoming after a long journey. The room we were shown to was extremly spacious, and decorated to a very high standard as is the rest of the property, the attention to the little details,(chockys on the bed side units) couldnt fail to make this 'possibly the best bed and breakfast in Norfolk'.
The quality of the breakfast was out of this world, beautifully presented, overall the quality of this establishment represented what we would consider exceptional value for money. We stayed for a three nights and have already rebooked for later in the year.

Room Tip: The room 'MaryRose' has delightful with views over the surrounding area.

We were welcomed by our host in a friendly and welcoming manner and shown round this very upmarket B & B. Our room was spacious, very tastefully decorated with large en suite and a walk in wardrobe. Attention to detail to make your stay most enjoyable is uppermost. Breakfast is set in the large dining room. A wide choice is available for breakfast with yogurt, fresh fruit, fruit juices, cereal, toast, full english breakfast, tea and coffee all presented to a high standard. There is a guest lounge, and the use of a balcony at the rear of the house overlooking the lovely garden. We are definitely looking forward to staying at Ashbourne House again. This B & B is a real find.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Mary Rose room, but all rooms are excellent

A short family break to Sheringham with extended family meant we booked all four rooms for 2 days. The standard of the accommodation was outstanding, with en-suite in every room, all beautifully decorated with so much thought. The back garden was a treat and we were made to feel so welcome by our hosts, who could not have been more friendly and helpful with booking restaurants and advising on the local area . The standards of cleanliness were of the very highest. Location was perfect, being a short way to the centre of the town, best via a picturesque cliff walk, past pitch and putt, down steps to the promenade and pretty beach huts.

Stayed here last weekend and was given the Victory room. The room is exactly what I want my bedroom at home to be like. The bed was lovely, the bathroom was really nice there was also a large kind of walk in wardrobe. The view was over the garden which was immaculately landscaped with loads of seperate areas to sit out in. We had wine in the room the first night and the second night Gill had left us some wine glasses which i thought was nice. There is a really nice homely feel to this place, its our new favourite B&B in Sheringham.

We stayed in the newly created "Mary Rose" room (all the rooms are named after ships) which was very spacious and clean. It was well equiped with everything you would expect. The bathroom had a large space age shower with sprays and drench facilities.
The owners were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was excellent and catered for all tastes using local ingredients where possible.
It is wthin easy walking distance of the main town and seafront and convenient for many of Norfolks attractions.
We really enjoyed our stay and will use it again. We would recommend it to anyone

Room Tip: The "Mary Rose" room is the biggest
