Owner description: Magic has long enthralled the British public, from the skill and dexterity of close-up magic, to the art and illusion of stage performance. The long-awaited creation of a national museum dedicated to this treasured art form is now a reality. The British Magic Museum opened its doors for the first time this summer, 2017, in North Norfolk. This new national centre houses one of the largest exhibitions of magic in the world. The breadth of the displays is considerable, with a vast array of apparatus, ephemera, memorabilia, art and grand illusions. Many of these artefacts are totally unique and cannot be found anywhere else. Not only does the museum makes this little-known history, covering some 450 years, available for everyone to understand and enjoy but visitors have the unique opportunity to experience the magic of a bygone age as the magic is brought to life in the purpose-built theatre. Cafe, magic & gift shop, free car-park, disabled parking, wheel chair & push chair accessible.
Useful Information: Food available for purchase, Wheelchair access, Bathroom facilities

We had a lovely family day out, lots to see for us and the children. The staff were all really friendly and there was a real family atmosphere. The show was great and we were treated to some close up magic whilst in the cafe. Loved it and will definitely be back

What a wonderful afternoon out, what ever your age. In our party we had 4 year olds, 30 year olds, 50 year olds and even 2 in their 80's.So much to see and so much history. Roy Davenport is so full of energy and enthusiasm which reflects in the people that work there. They all had that "magic" touch, you felt you were the first people to visit the shows. Lots of laughs from the deliciously corny jokes and the finale - a magic show n the theatre. Then a lovely cream tea. Our party was made up of over thirty people and everyone had a smile on their face. The perfect family day out. This is a real treat for North Walsham (even plenty of free parking).

So much to see we will have to come back.

Thanks Roy and Staff

I went here with my grandad, grandma and sister for a day out when it was a raining day outside. As I got there I thought it was a bit cringe worthy but still I gave it a chance. After a while it was very un organised and there was no sound proof so you could not here what the tour guide was talking about. It also took over 7 mins to get a coffee as we'll. over all if you love history and magic it's an ok place to go but if you don't like history and magic and if you are over 15 as you will find it pretty boring. Thanks for having time to look at my review.

We took our grand kids here and we all enjoyed it. We didn't k.now what to expect which made it fun. When we were told we were going to see a headless lady the kids came a bit close to me but weren't scared. The magic show was great. . Would recommend as a family day out
