We have been here several times and each time from the first to the latest, I have been treated like an old friend returning.
Nothing too much trouble, always greeted with a smile and food makes you feel well and truly contented.
From a bar meal to a full sunday lunch the same quality of service is given, keep it up guys and see you all soon.

Beware….worst meal we have had in a very long time. Badly cooked food, badly run…..felt like it was run by inexperienced people.
Quality of food leaves much to be desired. Friends I ate with will not be going back, best to drive past, Would not recommend to anyone….many more lovely places to visit for a meal in the North Norfolk area.

Hell 'James',
Thank you for your useless review, you haven't provided us with anything to learn from or be advised from or any facts for TA viewers to be 'advised' on.
It looks like a stab at the management or us as owners, and if that's the case I'm glad you won't be coming back, if you ever came at all.
Regards,

We have no complaints about the service. It was a bank holiday weekend and the pub was very busy. We hadn't booked (thank God) and were told that we could only have sandwiches or lite bites. As we had walked from Wells-next-the-Sea we were rather hungry and plumped for the Ploughman's Lunch as we expected this to be a filling meal. Wrong! It consisted of a very soft 'crusty' roll that had obviously been 'pinged' in the microwave, a very dry crusty pork pie, a lettuce leaf, 6 olives, a sliver of pickled cucumber, 3 sun-dried tomatoes, a sniff of pickle and a sliver of cheese. The cost? Aldi: probably 90p, Anchor: £9. Oh, we also had a very small quantity of pre-salted chips for nearly £4.

We were let off the cost of the chips as I am not allowed to have salt and we realised once we were outside that we hadn't been charged for our drinks. Shame! Their mistake!

We won't be going back there - ever!

A great pub to eat at after trip to Blakeney Point with Temples. Fab fish and meat dishes. Cosy atmosphere with candles. Friendly staff. Delicious!
