“Wader Spectacular”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 20, 2012

We have just had a most pleasant overnight stay at the Ashleigh Guest House. John and Liz were so obliging and helpful, and enabled us to have an early morning visit to the RSPB reserve at Snettisham, and then return for a wonderful late breakfast, specially cooked for us (oh, and my favourite - lashings of fresh fruit yum!) The accommodation was exceptionally clean and comfortable and every effort had been made for our comfort. Would return without hesitation. Thank you!

Thankyou so much to Liz & John at Ashleigh Lodge for letting us book our entire family into your fantastic guest house. Everyone was very happy, particilarly the boys as they all had beer fridges in their rooms!! The BBQ on Friday evening was lovely, you are both very attentive hosts and the burgers you made John with Chilli were the best we have ever had. Breakfast was also lovely, thankyou very much - everyone commented on the Full English and the Fresh Fruit and Cereal choices. Repeat bookings will be made by my Mum & Dad, as well as Phil & Raynee when they next come as they are delighted you are dog friendly! Thankyou so much for hosting this event for us, Love Christine & Caroline

My partner and I were attending a wedding in Hunstanton at the weekend and we were booked in to the Ashleigh Lodge along with some other guests. So a slightly different basis than a normal stay as Liz and John are good friends of the happy couple and so we had additional benefits like a BBQ and plenty of drinks.

However it was our first time staying here and its more than likely that we will be coming back at some point to stay again and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. It is spotless, its comfy, its welcoming and the brekkie was lovely. Although we didnt take our little dog Olive the Lodge is pet friendly which is a real boon for those of us with dogs that enjoy a dip in the north sea.

John and Liz are great hosts and clearly know their stuff, a proper fridge in our room, ample towels and a lovely crisp and fresh bed. Then combined this with the breakfast, a great choice, the full english looked great, but I took advantage of the fantastic and fresh as a daisy fruit salad, yoghurts, cereal and toast, all washed down with fresh coffee ! My partner is a vegeatarian and her brekkie was also given the thumbs up, cooked to order and also much enjoyed.

So in short lovely people who really know what they are doing and are so accomodating and cheerful. Great attention to detail and a quality place to make your base. We look forward to our return and more of the same!

My wife and I have just had a two-night stay at Ashleigh Lodge. One of the best b-and-b's we have used. Breakfast was lovely. John & Liz were great hosts and nothing was too much bother to them. Highly recommended!

What a wonderful little escape, Peaceful location and lovely warm comfy beds... AMAZING coffee and a yummy breakfast made to order by our welcoming hosts. WILL return and not just for the chocolates on departure. Great little safe garden for my daughter to have a run around in while I was getting packed up. Short walk to a lovely sea front... all just super lovely

Room Tip: I stayed in the family room, my only comment about the chalets are that you can hear people in the...

Me and my boyfriend, happened to stumble across the ashleigh lodge while looking for a b&b in hunstanton for a last minute get away. It was our first time at a B&B but the hosts were fantastic and very accomodating. The room itself despite being one of the smaller rooms was lovely and very comfortable. The only dissapointment was the shower, as there were hairs in the bottom of it, and it couldnt decide on what temperature to stay, however this is not enough to put me off staying there again.
