Myself , husband , two young children and our dog were on holiday in Hunstanton , we wanted to go for lunch at a nice pub but because of dog thought we would struggle!!! Until we stumbled across this little gem! It had everything, a relaxing atmosphere with open fire, friendly service ,and fantastic food ! I would highly recommend a visit to anyone!

We used the Marine Hotel for the base from which to walk the North Norfolk Coast Walk (Peddars Way). The Hotel is situated in the centre of Hunstanton very close to the bus station which matched our requirements perfectly. The hotel was very clean, the rooms were large with sea views and the beer served in the bar was excellent. Best of all though was the very warm welcome we recieved from the friendly staff, led impeccably by the Hotels manageress. (I haven't named her to save embarrasment).

The 46 mile walk from Hunstanton to Cromer, with the support of the Marine, was duly completed.

Didn't stay as we were just in Hunstanton to meet family for Sunday Lunch. Had a superb lunch with all the trimmings and tender beef that melt in the mouth and was succulent. Great value for money at £6.95 per person and we were so full didn't need a dessert. Don't do children's meals, but one would def have been enough for two hungry eight year olds. Highly recommended!

We travel to Hunstanton often to visit my boyfriend's grandma, and as it's a four hour drive we prefer to stay overnight. I booked this hotel purely because they allow pets, and I wasn't expecting much. We've been a bit disappointed with other places we have stayed in Hunstanton.

We were very pleasantly surprised to be greeted warmly by the informative manager, and then find that we had a huge room, with a very big bathroom, and a seaview. We had a kingsize bed, and a sofa. THe bathroom was big enough to have a party in with a shower and a bath. The decor I would describe as eclectic, the room and everything in it spotlessly clean. A very generous hospitality tray is included in the room. Breakfast is not included in the tariff, but you simply go to the Marine Bar downstairs, and the breakfast is cheap, well-cooked, and plentiful.

Be warned though that though they do allow pets, you are not allowed to leave pets unattended in the room, which could be a problem if you want to eat somewhere that isn't pet friendly, but there's plenty of places in Hunstanton that are. We enjoyed sitting in front of the log fire in the Marine Bar, and so did our Jack Russell.

We will definitely book to stay here the next time we visit.

Centrally located in Hunstanton, the hotel is "upstairs" from the Marine Bar which serves breakfast from 08:00. Rooms are very good and the view, seawards, from the top floor is excellent. As we were birdwatching we were out early every morning and rarely saw any staff but our room was always cleaned by the time we returned.
We were there in December so the hotel was quiet and we had no problems parking. I wondered how the small car park would cope in high-season?
There is a nice restaurant, as part of the hotel but we preferred the Marine Bar; roaring fire and good food.
Easy walking distance of Princess Theatre etc. and the seashore.

Room Tip: If you want a sea view then the higher the better and obviously, it needs to face the sea.

we had a very pleasant night here , the room was called Boadicia and overlooked the sea , Very comfy huge bed, room was spotless , the shower was a really fast power shower it was november and hotel lovely and warm ,the only gripe was no bedside table on one side , there would have been room for one
the staff were so friendly and breakfast was good ,, We went across to the Waterfront bar which is owned by the same company and enjoyed a live rock band, we will stay again for sure

Room Tip: to get the best sea views there are 2 flights of stairs and no lift but didnt matter to us
