Had a superb afternoon tea at Morston Hall. Everything was beautifully presented, extremely tasty and served in a very generous fashion. Several little treats kept coming after the main event. A lovely hotel and setting, very good service and excellent value. Makes we want to stay at the hotel an dine in the restaurant.

Stayed for one night and ate there. The food was sublime. Fixed menu. The food was not necessarily what I would have chosen but it was perfect. Had the wine flight too. Well worth the cost. Very good room. Well appointed. Good service. Special mention for the breakfast. The best ever. Served with little fuss but all beautifully presented and cooked. Faultless.

Delicious! Each course had something special and memorable. The service was exceptional and I would not hesitate to return as soon as possible.

Stunning location for a very special birthday celebration for 10 people. This was for a Sunday lunch - excellent presentation and amazing flavour of food.

Thank you to Morston Hall for making my birthday so special - will return!

My 'Foodie' husband booked the tasting menu for a celebratory dinner for two. A little strange that everyone arrived, was served and ate each course the same time but I suppose this was most efficient for the kitchen. Overall though a nice selection of dishes that were very well presented. As I have a shellfish allergy the lobster was replaced with very tasty Halibut. Personally I really disliked the Aberdeen Angus/ Truffle dish and felt bad that I had to leave it but it was overpowering and actually made me feel a little nauseous! Lots of couples dining out and very easy to overhear everyone else's conversation in the small dining room. Especially funny elderly couple who were obviously deaf and had to shout to hear each other and spent the evening correcting the grammar on the menu. Coffee in the lounge and petit four very tasty. A nice to experience occasion where the food is king. Definitely a one off.
