“Amazing as always!”

We love Walnut Barn so spacious and fab log burner! Louisa and John are the most thoughtful and lovely hosts, always amazing fresh bread, cake, biscuits all delicious! Thankyou. All the little touches provided around the barne for a very welcoming stay. All the barns here are fantastic, beautifully decorated and such a peaceful setting there really is nothing to fault! This is our second time staying and last minute again John was fab and upgraded us just before we arrived to Walnut, Thankyou and we can't wait to come back again!

We stayed at Whitehorse farm for 2 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We stayed in Sweet Pea, one of the barns, it was beautiful, very well appointed and our hosts couldn't do enough to make us comfortable. Lots of little extras in our room an example being on the second evening some magazines had been left that they thought I would like.
The breakfasts were brought to our room beautifully served and a joy to eat! ! Ella the resident labrador was friendly and gentle, a lovely dog.
Sadly we had to leave and come home but would love to go back soon.

Room Tip: Although we only stayed in one I suspect they are all lovely!

We absolutely loved our stay at Blackberry Barn. It was charming, delightful and extremely comfortable. We would definitely recommend it! The attention to detail and extra luxuries such as Top quality bedding, towels, books, magazines, DVD's, slippers and hot water bottle, scrumptious lemon drizzle cake and home made bread made this an exceptional stay. Thank you John and Louisa for such a warm welcome.... We will definitely come again!

We stayed at Sweet Pea for a Valentine's break and thoroughly enjoyed it. John made us feel welcome from the moment we made the booking until the moment we (sadly) left. It's the little touches that make something special, and all of these little things added up to a fantastic 24 hrs in Holt. John's very careful driving directions, the lovely lemon drizzle cake on arrival, the luxurious and eclectic accommodation, and not to mention the gorgeous breakfast and charming service. Will definitely be back, and will definitely recommend this to friends and family and anyone else that would like a fantastic North Norfolk break. 11 out of 10 !

Room Tip: Absolutely perfect for a romantic getaway

I loved everything about Sweet Pea Barn including the stylish decor, the top quality bedding, the cute little details like providing slippers and a hot water bottle, a pile of home decor magazines and lots of pretty candles. It made our two night stay just before Christmas so special and memorable. Our hosts were so welcoming and friendly, advising us where to visit and even inviting us into their beautiful farmhouse for mulled wine and home made mince pies. It felt like going to visit your favourite aunt and uncle in the country at Christmas. The full English breakfast that was delivered to our room each morning was cooked to perfection and once again the attention to detail was impeccable. Not to mention home made cake being left in our room on both days. These delightful personal touches really did make a difference and added so much charm to our stay. This is why a stay at White Farm is a must!! It was cosy and romantic at Christmas but I can imagine it would be a glorious experience in the summer, especially as it is only 15 minutes to the coast. They have an immaculate grass tennis court and a new summer house where you can dine and be served home cooked food. What's not to like??? I am looking forward to another visit soon and this time I will try one of the self catering barns.

Room Tip: All rooms are gorgeous but if you are staying more than a couple of nights, I would recommend one of...

We are lucky enough to be able to travel a good deal, and from Land's End to Inverness we've stayed in a wide variety of places in the UK. Taken all in, we think that John and Louisa have created one of the best, if not the best, places we have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The barn we stayed in, called Primrose, was certainly the largest room we've had all to ourselves, and was superbly furnished and equipped. We ate in one evening and the meal we enjoyed was simply wonderful. We lamb which Louisa slow- cooked that set a benchmark for all future lamb.
The surrounding area is full of interest, with Holt and Wells standing out for us. It looks a little remote on a map, but it only took us two and a half hours to get there from Kent. We will certainly return.

Room Tip: We really liked Primrose

We stayed in Primrose for three nights and it was absolutely delightful. There was nothing to fault. The owners were helpful, efficient and discrete - a winning combination. Primrose is spacious, nicely decorated and very comfortable; it has French windows for the summer and a log burning stove for the winter. It's a good location too, convenient for the coast, several country houses and Norwich. The little villages of flint houses and wide open skies make this a beautiful area of the UK.
