Three years after our last visit we have finally managed to find time for a weekend back in lovely Happisburgh. Glad to find Rosie still there, happy and helpful as ever, and still cooking up those delicious breakfasts. We stayed in the barn again in the four poster room - which was lovely and cosy - I slept like a log! We get up very early to get down to the beach for early morning photography, and then back for one of Rosie's breakfasts - just the ticket. This time we travelled around the local area a bit more - Horsey windpump and a walk across to see the seals on the beach - what a treat! We were able to get within just a few feet - not something you do every day! We also spotted a Marsh Harrier and have since been told they are one of the rarer birds of prey in the UK. Rosie also recommended a local nature reserve - Hickling Broad, where we saw Cranes flying over - a real spectacle. If you want to explore this lovely part of Norfolk, I would highly recommend staying at Manor Farmhouse, you wont find a nicer host or more delicious breakfasts anywhere!
