This is a great show but whatever you do make sure 120% you can go on the dates you originally booked.
My friend who is a firefighter will be going with me but and has had her shifts changed so we now have HUGE problems trying to arrange this.
Thursfords policy is NO echange as this cant be done through the system they have. For goodness sake Thursford get with the times. The show is not until November so there should be plenty of time to exchange after all its not as if i want any money back!

This was the second year that we have been to the show and it won't be the last! Listening to people there are those who return every year and the first-timers who vow to return.
If you want to get into the Christmas spirit then this is the show to see. For us the highlight was the tin soldiers who fell backwards in slow motion. On a more negative side we were more than a little disappointed to find we were unable to access the grotto as on the night we were there it had to be pre-booked. Last year this was one of the highlights.
All in all though a good night!

For the second year I took a coach party on 2 occasions to see this fabulous show in the middle of nowhere(apologies to Thursfordians). A magical setting with trees illuminated in a riot of colour led us firstly to Fantasy Land, well worth the extra cost to visit. What can only be described as a huge Christmas Grotto. The show was fantastic,Slick, professional featuring carols, choirs, a full orchestra,(which did go wild at one stage), dancers, bagpipes, comedy, juggling, ballet and pop.
What more would you want? A great start to the festive season, and we will be going again next year. It's great.

I visited this show with my husband and 2 friends for the 1st time in about 27 years! We had a good journey from Shropshire to Norfolk and arrived in plenty of time for looking round the shops etc. There are approx. 130 members of the cast and the setting in the museum is stunning. We felt the show was varied offering something for everyone with dancing, singing, carols and traditional Christmas songs. The comedian got us all going and the juggler was terrific. We had been advised that at the interval it is better to head straight for the Carousel Bar rather than walk across to the cafe and this proved to be sound advise. We loved the hot mince pies and mulled wine and had time to wander around some of the exhibits. This is a truly professional show that would rival any West End performance. On Xmas Eve I was straight on to the Internet to book tickets for 2014 and this time my 2 grown up children and their partners have insisted on coming with us! Looking forward to it already!

We went to the Xmas spectacular and we weren't disappointed. Over 100+ singers, dancers and musicians. The show was excellent, the orchestra were amazing and the decorations throughout were superb.

It's amazing that a show like this can be put on in a small village. Just as good, if not better, than a top London West End show. Well worth a visit.
