“Delightful”
Reviewed November 4, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

So lucky to find this little gem. Late booking with two teenagers and a dog. Situated in a little hamlet, within an easy 20 min drive to Wells, Cromer and beautiful Holkham. For the kids their ask was WiFi and us was a quiet get away, it was perfect.
You do need a car as nearest shops and takeaways were Fakenham about 5 miles away.
Elizabeth the owner was very accommodating and any emails were answered quickly.
If you want a peaceful getaway and near a beautiful part of Norfolk and you have a four legged friend, this is perfect x

“Beautiful cottage in the most delightful, peaceful setting.”

This is a lovely cottage, very quaint but also spacious and with all modern amenities. It is an excellent base for exploring the countryside and coastal areas of Norfolk. There is loads of places close by of interest to visit but you definitely need a car and lovely weather is a massive bonus! The owner of the cottage was always very helpful when I was in correspondence with her and always replied really promptly. I would say the only slight down side is the fact that there is no shop, or pub very close to the cottage, you had to travel into Fakenham which was only about 4 miles. I particularly liked the owners choice and selection of art work on the walls, it was very varied and interesting!

“Cute cottage off the beaten track”

A cute cottage in a tiny village that gave us easy access to the North Norfolk coastal towns! The cottage was cosy and had enough amenities to make us feel at home! The owners were super friendly and responsive too. Best feature was the enormous garden with trampoline, tyre swing and barbecue.. Great to have this after a long day at the seaside!

“Quiet and comfortable”
Reviewed September 5, 2014 for a stay in August 2014

Nice homely cottage in very quiet hamlet. Very comfy king-size bed! Able to park car on street nearby & directly outside cottage for the time it took to unload at start of stay & pack up at the end.
