We recently managed a brief stay at the above B & B and what a lovely home from home.
Firstly the welcome, from both Sarah & Paul was effusive and real the room was spotless with
all anyone could wish for.Overlooking the none too small garden was a bonus for us.Breakfast
wow that was enough for the whole day and beautifully presented. Our abiding memory is those
delicious biscuits gratis to know more you have to stay there. Many thanks and we will be back
soon.

We've done some 'b & b-ing' in our time but this is probably the best one we've ever stayed in. The place is shiningly clean which, we think, is so important. We had four nights in Bay Tree Cottage as from 20th May and never before had we found such comfortable beds away from home. Breakfasts were lavish and delicious, as were the three evening meals we had during our stay, also beautifully cooked and served by Sarah. In addition, there were many nice little touches, such as lighted candles and fresh flowers which we very much appreciated. All in all, we think it's a gem of a b&b and we highly recommend it.

Room Tip: We stayed in the 'en-suite' twin-bedded room overlooking the garden.

Our stay at Bay Tree Cottage couldn't have been more relaxing. The location is great, very quiet but close to the shops and restaurants in Fakenham. The service was friendly and relaxed. Our lovely room overlooking Sarah and Paul's beautiful garden was spotlessly clean with everything you could wish for. As for Sarah's cooking... Breakfast was the best ever. Look forward to staying again.

This is the second time we have stayed with Sarah and Paul, and again, the attention to detail is without fault. The lovely rooms are very warm and beautifully furnished with very comfortable beds and home made biscuits provided with the tea and coffee making facilities. The house is quiet with a lovely feeling about it, not to mention the beautiful view across the garden. Breakfast was again delicious as well as generous with home – made bread; Sarah catered perfectly for our dietary needs - thank you. Sarah and Paul are genuinely welcoming hosts and we are looking forward to our next visit.

On the 13th March 2013 my wife and my-self travelled to Fakenham for my birthday. We spent 3 day at Bay Tree Cottage. We search the area for a suitable B&B. We kept returning the Bay Tree Cottage web site and boy were we pleased. We arrived to a very very warm welcome by Sarah our host. We were shown to our very comfortable room on the first floor. As well as the nomal tea & coffee there was a selection of special teas and wonderful home made biscuits (yum, yum). It is our norm to eat fish & chips on our first night away and we can recommend a local fish & chip restaurant called Drifters. Thursday morning we sat down to a traditional English breakfast of local produce acommpanied by Sarah's home made bread; what a treat. At Sarah's recommendation we spent the day at Pensthorpe a local wild-life park and gardens, it was a day well spent and we took some wonderful photos. Thursday evening Sarah cooked us an excellent dinner. Friday which was my birthday we went out to dinner at the Blue Bore a local pub restaurant again highly recommended. So to summarise - if you are looking for very comfortabl accomidation we a superb host then it has got to be Bay Tree Cottage you will not be disappointed. Thank you very much Sarah and Paul for a great 3 days I look forwad to anyother visit soon. Glyn & Cindy
