We were looking for somewhere local to enjoy a quiet meal and having read some reviews we decided to give it a try and were not disappointed in any way. The bar area was inviting and we were served a drink of our choice on arrival followed by canapes at our table.
The restaurant was suitably festive and the following 5 course set menu was spread over a 4 hour period concluding with champagne at midnight. The food was beautifully presented and extremely good, the staff very attentive and overall, it proved to be an excellent evening. We will certainly be visiting the restaurant again and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys fine dining. Those who expect huge quantities of massed produced food and 'chips with everything' may be disappointed!
