Lots of paths to follow or break out on your own, either way this is a beautiful area for a Sunday stroll. With plenty of woodland, a river and open grassland there's lots of choice. Exmoor ponies graze in some areas so you need to keep dogs on a lead.

Been a few times now and my little one always enjoys the walks, only shame is its getting overgrown and nettles are creeping onto paths which isn't ideal for young children. With a cut back on the nettles and bushes I'd say it was great. Lovely views and wildlife. Worth a visit for £1 car parking!

Nice peace of country side by the river any time of year with plenty of walks and in the summer children swim in the river

Hopefully it will improve, and acquire some facilities, now that it is being run by the Suffolk Wildlife Trust!

I have visited here for over 50 years as I live only a ten minute drive away. It only costs £1 to park and there is plenty to do for all ages young and old alike. The river is still as popular as ever in the warmer weather seeing youngsters swimming, paddling or just splashing about. There is a new play area, toilets, way marked walks and picnic benches as well as some organised events now it has been taken over by Suffolk Wildlife Trust. In the summer an ice cream van visits as well! It is just as appealing when you want to get out into the fresh air in the winter.
