On two separate visits to friends in Diss, my wife and I have been taken for a meal at the family-run Turkuaz restaurant. We were impressed on both occasions. The menu and prices are fairly typical for local Turkish restaurants, but the quality of the food is definitely better than average and the portions are generous. Although we only ordered starters and main courses, our meal began with complimentary olives, vegetable batons and a dip and ended with a generous mixed fruit platter. We were warmly greeted when we arrived and profusely thanked as we left, and the service in between was efficient and friendly.
