Went here to experience one o9f their Breakfasts, which was OK but a little pricy for what you were served, would not rate this Restaurant too highly and not for the area.

After a 4 mile dog walk we stopped in for a late breakfast with three large and muddy dogs. The three of us and the dogs were welcomed inside and menus were bought promptly. Hot drinks were ordered and arrived quickly with our breakfasts following soon after. Both the young waiter and the waitress who served us were happy, smiling and efficient. This was our first visit and we could not fault anything. Eggs were scrambled and fried perfectly, the bacon was tasty with just the right amount of crispy and we had been given our choice of bread for toast. Coffee was good too. A really good cafe breakfast which filled us up. On leaving I noticed the range of tasty cakesand scones on display. So I went back in and bought some to take away for later.. They were delicious.

We used to like the food here but it has become very disappointing. The surroundings have always been basic but the food seemed good. This is no longer so - the reheated dry scones is a tiny amount of whipped cream and commercially made jam being especially poor.

The service was also amazingly slow.

Go elsewhere.

Never been to this cafe before always thought it was part of garage! what a lovely surprise.
Food was wholesome and generous with plenty of choice.
Home made Victoria sponge was just like my mums.
Staff were friendly and efficient

We were disappointed when we visited this year as it was just not the same. Food is trying to be of a high standard but not quite making it. The fishcakes were not too bad and went well with the chutney accompanying them. The salad however was old and slimy, we didnt pay for it and no-one offered an apology. The pumpkin soup was quite odd tasting, we thought perhaps ginger had been added but no-one knew! Young people working there hadnt a clue what they were serving and looked liked they couldnt care less. Person in charge needs to come out from behind the counter and manage this place properly. Such a shame as it is a great looking place with so much potential!
