The Deepdale cafe is a must do in north norfolk, whether your on holiday or a regular visitor to this fantastic location. The cafe offers warm hospitality, excellent food, and a good choice of beverages. The home cooked fare, is both hearty and seasonal, always cooked to perfection. The 'pie of the day' in the winter season is superb as are the mussels from Brancaster. During the warmer months you can enjoy your food in the outdoor area, watching the world go by. In addition they offer a mouthwatering selection of cakes and deserts. The owner is friendly and helpful and even more fantastic they welcome dogs. I am lucky that I visit regularly with my husband and our lovely dog, who is a favourite at the cafe.
Well done for offering excellent, seasonal and reasonably priced food all year round.

When I was staying at Burnham on holiday we ate a couple of times at Deepdale, and both times it was excellent. The first time I had whole fresh mackerel, and it was one of the freshest and juiciest mackerel I've ever had. The second time I had a lovely salad with houmous and olives, and again it was extremely fresh with attention to detail. Two of the healthiest and tastiest lunches I've had for a long time.

Good portion size. Nice ingredients well cooked. A bit of a hidden gem. Make sure you have the apple juice as well.

Had breakfast here several mornings. Good friendly service, good food if a little pricey for the cooked breakfast. Overall fine and recommended.

If its hospitality and customer service your after then DON'T take a visit to this cafe. It is one we have visited often, as we live in the area, but will never do so again after today. Met with miserable service from staff and felt uncomfortable. Orders were taken, tea brought plonked down, followed by coffee, didn' ask whom this was for and again plonked down on corner of table. Then incorrect food was brought for one order, no apologies, met with 'got to get to the bottom of this, as if our fault. Brought two sandwich orders, both with dry bread on top. Asked why, ans: 'been under the light' now why would a sandwich need to be put under a light to keep hot! Waitress took it away, again unapologetically, brought it back, plonked it down again and said 'soft' and went. At another table was a dog, a very good dog, but nethertheless a dog. What eating establishments allow dogs? And no it wasn't a guide dog. On paying there was a younger man who did have manners and was very polite. He was the assistant manager so we politely told him our grievances and he explained that they were new and he was very sorry and would inform the manager. Also, why wear a hat back to front when serving, not a proper catering one, just a hat!
Needless to say no tips.
