We stopped here for a family get together, the location is great, right next to the water and plenty of outside seating, it’s also very child friendly with plenty for them to do. We ate inside in the conservatory, and although it was a very hot day, it was nice and cool in there. The food was tasty, arrived hot and we all had generous portions. I did find it a tad pricy for pub food but then, with the location I think they can get away with charging a little extra. The staff were friendly and service was good.
Bad Point: The toilets were a mess, these should be checked more regularly as they were dirty.

I visited this restaurant twice whilst on a boating holiday in Norfolk. The first time was my 12 year old grandson's 12th birthday. The staff helped with putting candles on the cakes and leading the restaurant on singing'Happy birthday'.
The second time was an evening meal for my wife and myself.
The food on each occasion was very good, what you expect from a good pub meal. The one thing was the portions. They are huge!
Consider sharing a starter and you will need a big appetite to do justice to the amount of food on the plate.
The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful without being 'over the top', which is a fault in so many restaurants trying too hard to be welcoming.

Stopped here overnight from Norwich to Stalham. The pubs great for kids, but equally as good for the food. Elder waitress not quite on the game, didnt explain about specials or ask if we wanted a drink, but the younger one was very good. The food and the pub are lovely, bar staff and management team very good. We had to wait for a table on a Thursday night that's how busy it was, the Steak & Ale pie, fish pie and pork were all very good. £5 taken off your £5 mooring fee if you eat there, so we obliged, little things go a long way ! Would be great if they had chargeable toilets and showers, I think they'd make a fortune !

Hadn't visited this pub in many years but decided to drop in on our way back from a day out in London.
We rang ahead to see if we could get a table but they were fully booked (always a good sign) however the lady said we could take a chance and probably get a bar table if we wanted to just drop in.
We were given a lovely friendly welcome and shown to a table straightaway despite the fact they were fairly busy.
We had 2 children with us and I have to say the food was absolutely gorgeous. Obviously homemade, reasonably priced for a family and generous too. In fact we were too full for dessert which is unusual for us!
Definitely will be returning there lots more in the future!
