Arrived at 2pm on Monday 5th May for 'lunch' was finished by 6pm just in time for dinner!! Waited a total of 90 minutes for two starters, then the main courses followed all at different times, some of which was cold. The steaks was nice however the healthier option of the chicken and bacon salad was not good, it was overloaded with mayo the bacon and chicken being fried not grilled. Drink requests were ignored by table staff. We all understand that bank holidays are busy, but this was a joke why the management did not put a pause on food orders I do not understand as it was obvious the bottle neck in the kitchen became a huge problem, noticed a couple of tables walking out. The only saving grace was the fabulous garden and play area for the kids, although the bridge safety is questionable.
