Description: The tea room used to be the Southill Post Office until it was closed down a few years ago. It is a jewel. We pride ourselves on home baked cakes and scones and hope that you enjoy them just as much as we do.

Called in here today and absolutely loved it!

Excellent pot of tea and an extremely tasty toasted teacake, all nicely presented. Ideal place to relax in, shall definately be visiting again.

Also some attractive gifts, notelets, etc available to buy.

Gorgeous little tea room, lovely atmosphere with friendly staff. My partner took me here for brunch, lovely selection of teas and the breakfast roll was very tasty! Can't wait to return, I can't tell everyone enough how lovely this place is. Even though it is very small it's a lovely place to go, it would lose its magic if it was much bigger! On a final point...eat as many of the homemade cakes as you can!

Our first visit was on a cold grey Sunday in January 2013. We were delighted to find a warm welcome in this delightful traditional English tearoom which was not only open for business but busy with customers.

The tables have embroidered tablecloths and tea is served in bone china cups which many people will probably only have ever seen in an elderly relative's china cabinet - only to be brought out for high days and holidays. Such a pleasurable change from drinking out of the ubiquitous mug. The service was prompt and very friendly and the food was excellent.

North Bedfordshire is not normally a must-see stopping off point on the tourist trail - but when word gets around this may well change. In the meantime we hope that the local population will continue to support this little gem.
