Svalbard Husky is a family run business with a personal touch. Nice people, great service, great ride and -last but not least- happy dogs that are obviously well looked after. Great participating in the preparations and afterwork for the ride, cuddling the dogs and learning a little about do's and don'ts!

A wonderful experience, and a great way to explore the area around Longyearbyen. No exhaust, noisy engines or broken down snow mobiles - just beautiful nature, hard-working dogs and the possibility to enjoy the company and scenery while on the move.

Strongly recommended!

Visited the Archipelago on January. Conditions unbearable, still, people live there, enjoying stroll with babies in partial darkness, and the mine, app. 15 km south of the city, operates all year. Dog sledding was one of my most wonderful, intriguing and best described as most instructive in my travels. Although the prices are quite high don't miss it. Just don't. The team is very professional and helpful, they have the appropriate equipment, which means the heavy clothing, and if you will do it in the more convenient months of the year you may survive the journey. The dogs are fantastic, eager to run, and he journey would be no less than on of a life-time experience. I would definitely would repeat it with Svalbard Huskies.
