Great pub food with ample sized portions. Recommend the roast of the day - lovely succulent meat and plenty of it with lots of vegetables. They do a kids' portion too of roast dinner for around 6€. Nothing is too much trouble for the excellent staff.

Had a quick stop here on the way to Sneem. found the staff very helpful and friendly. We had the sea foood chowder which was excellent. its a very atmospheric pub with locals at the bar which is always a good sign.

In the small town of Caherdaniel lies this rustic little pub as a centerpoint for the local community. Friendly service, friendly prices, frienldy folks who even gave up their table without hesitation or frown to seat our larger group when we walked in. The food is excellent, typically Irish and well worth your visit alone!

Blind piper is a lovely traditional pub. The middle aged waitress that served us was very unfriendly and was no way helpful or encouraging when ordering our lunch. I think we were in the way! However the lunch was good but we were very surprised to pay €2.00 for a jug of water with orange cordial, there are no signs that it is their policy to make this charge. It is charges like this that stop families from eating out and it is the first time we have ever been charged for this.

Warm atmosphere on a windy wet night. Great food served with a smile. Melt in the mouth steak for me and duck for my wife. imaginatively served. Filled with friendly locals. Does not match the map that appears on the top of this page. Actually tucked down a little side lane.
