We were thrilled to find this charming, little hotel in Tinos! The family who runs it are wonderful and they were so helpful in giving us ideas of things to see, places to go on the island and what foods are local to the island. It is a beautiful hotel with incredilbe attention to detail that gives it charm and romance. We had 2 rooms. One room was for our children which was smaller and without a balcony but it was adequate for what we needed. Our other room was large and spacious with a beautiful, large balcony over looking the town and the port...it was wonderful to sit out there at night with a glass of wine! We only stayed in Tinos for 2 nights but we loved every second of our visit and plan on returning for longer next time. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and we hope to stay there once again in the near future as it was a highlight of our trip!

The family that owns and runs the hotel are extremely helpful and friendly. The son sat down with us for half an hour to talk about all the Tinos had to offer. He served us coffee on the house. We felt very welcome. We were looking for a bed and breakfast-type hotel and thought we were settling for this when we booked it. As it turns out, we got a great place that felt just like a bed and breakfast. Small, familiar, and beautiful. The central stairwell is luminous with natural light that pours throughout the house. There are three floors of rooms, some of which have balconies that overlook the harbor and downtown. We felt very lucky to have found such a gem!

Review by Jean Clairambault, from Paris (jean.clairambault@inria.fr):
Not a hotel, but rather a familial boarding house, with a personal welcome by our hosts Maria and her son Kosmas, a very friendly welcome indeed in a nice typical cycladic house equipped with modern comfort, including free wireless internet in the room. The room itself was perfect for the two of us, quiet, cosy and always tidy, with white linen, cloths, and ribbon knots everywhere, all arranged with good taste. The view from the nice breakfast room was beautiful, too. It is very quiet, and yet close (short walking distance) to the port and to the centre of the main city of Tinos island, so lively at night. I came there for a week with my 10 year old daughter to discover Tinos, attracted by a "coup de coeur" mention in a tourist guide and I was not disappointed. Kosmas showed me on a map the main spots of interest of the island, which I intended to discover by car (car rental shops are numerous and cheap). Children are appreciated, and my daughter was no exception, with always nice words and presents to her from Maria. English and French are understood and spoken by Kosmas and Maria. Yes, I would definitely recommend this lodging to a friend and I have done it already.

The hotel was friendly, comfortable and in a good location. We were met from the boat by the owners's son - unexpected but much appreciated. Our room, although small, was very clean and homely. The owner and her son made us most welcome and could not have been more helpful. On our first night, by chance, we spent the evening at the same restaurant as them. We had a wonderful time and they encouraged us to join in the dancing. Overall a great stay.
