Got back last week, we were one of the last guests before they shut up for the winter and so everything was really quiet and few people around (which suited us). Really clean and perfectly functional rooms. Linen/towels changed every 2 days. Big fridge, 2 hot rings and a kettle and basic cutlery/pots/pans provided, however worth taking bottle opener, can opener, wooden spoon/spatula and kitchen utility knife if you're planning on doing any cooking. Choice of going up the hill to the old villages for dinner or down the hill to the harbour/beach/activities/bus links/shops etc for daytime or dinner. Invigorating stroll either way, not so good if you're not very mobile. We were end of season so the bar attached to the villas was very quiet or even closed during the day and we found it to be expensive anyway. No problem to drink outside your own villa though if you are self catering, but understandably, they don't welcome people taking their own refreshments to the pool area. Pool area is small but perfectly adequate and qutie a sun trap. Pool more of a plunge pool and very deep. Not suitable for young children. Overall better than expected and Kostas & Maria have a great little business here. Would certainly recommend the Papadakis Villas to anyone staying in Hersonissos.

My wife and I stayed here for 10 nights
LOCATION
<10 min walk downhill to town which is very commercialised and busy walk balk could be strenuous for elderly or with breathing difficulties
>10 minwalk up to Koutoulafari this is even steeper but is well worth the climb it has beautif ul views and some fine restaurants
APARTMENTS
Maria & Costas make all guests feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The room we had was a 1 bed apart was a little small but was very clean, bed comfy, air con essential and worth the extra 70Euros Fridge also very cold and essential if only for cold drinks, did not use cooker. Bathroom compact and shower had good pressure and lots of hot water. Pool is small but never gets to packed so no problems there patio area has sunbeds and is right next to fat frog bar and would recommend bottle of Mythos served in frosted ice glass 3 Euros bar also does meals throughout day and specials on certain days these seem to go down well although we did not try due to always being out most of time, I would certainly go back but would limit to 7 nights max.

I have recently come back from these villas where I had a brill time with my partner. Maria and Kostas were really friendly and welcoming, the fat frog bar was a lovely little bar and perfect for a pre meal drink or an ‘on your way home night cap!’ The resort and villa location offer from the best of both with a short walk down the hill to the bars and restaurants by the seafront and then a 10 minute walk up the hill to the most beautiful little Greek village with lovely restaurants and bars with loads of character and charm! It did rain for one day but we still had an amazing holiday the apartments were very clean, traditional and friendly.

Stayed at papadakis villas in July and had a brill time. As we arrived Kostas and Maria greeted us and give us a drink on the house. The location is perfect 5 min walk up the hill to nice restaurants and 10 mins down hill to Hersonissos for nightlife. The rooms were basic but very clean. Kostas and Maria hosted a BBQ for all the guests, which was def worth while going to, with food, music and Greek dancing.........and freedom giving loads of Raki shoots! Can not reconnend this place highly enough, would def go back.
