We stayed a week with our 2 children and enjoyed ourselves despite a bad start for two reasons. One we did not go all inclusive initially as booked on a half board basis and two we had requested a quiet high up room and were given a noisy ground floor room reason being they did not have family high up rooms which at no time when we were booking were told this despite checking final request with the booking agents who said they had telephoned the hotel and confirmed a high up room?. We were shocked at how we were treated having gone half board by the staff and waitresses and felt like second class citizens and they dismissed you whilst hovering about to see if you were taking the all inclusive drinks or food. It was most upsetting especially when you just wanted to enjoy your holiday. The first day was spoiled having to move rooms and being half board so we decided to go all inclusive as it was a much better option (just not told that or given any indication before you go that it is mainly an all inclusive hotel so be warned). The room that we were changed to was on the first floor which was not a family room but big enough for the four of us and much preferred, quieter and brighter in a very good location overlooking the children's playground with a sea view it was not luxury but of a good standard and it made us a lot happier so thanks for getting this sorted. After we went all inclusive everything was much more relaxed and an instant change by the staff. The children enjoyed being able just to go and get an ice cream or drink when they wanted. it was much better value than if we had paid for them individually and we didn't even drink much. The hotel has lots of steps so not good for the elderly. It is lovely as you can walk right on to the beach, The animation staff were very good and we did join in some things. At dinner it was quite relaxed not as dressy as we were used to on other holidays but great for a hot husband who likes wearing shorts. The food was nice but not a lot of variety for children but overall no complaints on standard/taste of food supplied. The cafe down by the lower pool is a lot more relaxed for lunch but little choice. Overall it was a lovely sunny holiday and we all enjoyed ourselves. We just like to give honest realistic feedback but everybody has their own idea of what they want from a holiday. We have given an overall very good mark however the first day was a terrible experience which could have been improved by the staff attitude. So our recommendations to you is go all inclusive!

We spent a very enjoyable week here. Rooms are well designed and comfortable. The general atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. Sports activities are limited (beach volley, boules) but there are two outdoir swimming pools and an indoor one in addition to the beach.
The village is let own by two things: dull food and poor service. The restaurant mostly served reheated canteen-style dishes with no fresh fish. We walked into Hersonissos (25 mins) for dinner most days. Service in general is very slow. Reception staff were often unhelpful and not particularly welcoming. For example, getting someone to turn the air conditioning on in the gym was impossible, even with 30 minutes notice (Temperature in the gym was 30°c). There is a decent set of equipment but it is poorly maintained.
Conclusion: a good venue for a week in the sun if you get a good discount, but don't expect a 5-star experience.

I'm just back from a week staying at the Annabelle Village on a family holiday, where we had a great time.
We had a problem on check-in when they had no record of one of the 3 rooms we had booked, but they were able to give me a room, and then moved me to a room beside the rest of the family the next day. It's impossible to know where the fault lies in these situations, but they handled it well, and I was very happy with the outcome.
The hotel was ideal for a family with a young (1 year old) child - the staff were very friendly and helpful. I was on full board, and I enjoyed the food every day - I wasn't at all tempted to go eat elsewhere.
The wifi is also very good value at only 5 Euros for a week.

Room Tip: Be aware that the hotel grounds are large and on a slope, so there a lot of steps down to the beach...

We have just returned from a week at this hotel and after travelling to the area for the last 6 years this has to be the best value for money. We would however not return to the Annabelle due to one major problem with the interconnecting door between rooms. Whilst useful for a family it is not good for others. There is no soundproofing at all and with noisy neighbours sleep is impossible.
Pity, since cleanliness, staff and facilities are great even though the dinner buffet never seems to change but still Ok for a week.

Room Tip: Perhaps use a suite and ensure no interconnecting doors if a couple.

We arrived with some reservation due to one negative review we read, and were positively surprised. The abmiance is great - garden, buildings etc. we loved the beach. A little rocky but very pleasant. Even the animation team, which we usually ignore, succeded to drag us to bingo and some fun games.
Tha staff was very friendly. On our departure day they set up a decent breakfast at 5 am.
The food was average. Not enough variety and the quality was average.
Over all - we very much enjoyed our vacation at the hotel
