We stayed for 10 days at the beginning of July (2 adults & 2 11 year olds). We did have a lovely holiday but this was mainly down to the fact we met one of the only other British couples there! As a Brit we are not really used to being in a minority but in this hotel we really were fish out of water.
The hotel in itself was fine and above all, clean which made me happy however.............

We had no aerial for our tv which we highlighted on the maintenance card and hung on our door. This was ignored until my husband went to Reception and asked them to sort it. Strangely though hubby went back to our room later to find the maintenance man adjusting our front door!!!!!! Eventually hubby got the message across.

Foodwise it was ok, lots of choice but not always to our tastes. Some of the meat was quite tough that it may well have been road kill!!! If you like pizza and pasta, believe me you will never want it again after a stay here. To top this the restaurant has no atmosphere whatsoever, school canteen springs to mind.

Sunbeds and pool areas were lovely. We spent most of our time at the top pool with the swim up bar as it was much nearer to our room and the walk from the bottom pool in the heat was a bit too far (we had extreme heat warnings while we were there). The amount of steps also deserve a mention! Also at the top pool you are pretty much left alone by the animation team, who are very Russian and Italian biased.

I speak as I find and while this hotel is fabulously clean and the staff pretty accommodating, I would never go back as the hotels priority is looking after their rich Russian guests and not treating everyone as equals. As the Russians are amongst the rudest people I have ever had the displeasure to meet this doesn't say much for the hotel! Sad but true!!!

stayed for a week with 2 kids and in-laws. had a very positive experience. location is good with an excellent beach around the corner (the hotel's beach was very wavy). rooms clean, bed comfy. staff pleasant and animation team generally entertaining (kids loved it). food was abundant and though not gourmet always had at least a dish or too we liked.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. As we began our holiday, we arrived at our hotel at around 00:00 hours on the 10th of July. The receptionist who greeted us was very polite and well spoken English.

There were 25 of us going on this holiday. One of the family members got married while we was out here.

Anyway, back to the hotel. The cleanliness was perfect, as we're the service the location and the helpfulness of the staff.

The hotel has a little mini market which sells a range of things from key rings to cigarettes. All cheap by the way.

4 of us were staying in room 229 and to get from the reception to our room we had to go down 60 odd steps, this got a little annoying after a while, + as their was 25 of us we weren't close together.

The top pool was brilliant. There was a deep pool and then a slide into the not so deep pool, which was where the pool bar was. The service at the pool bar was excellent by Athena, cannot say the saner for the two trainee gentlemen who were working there. There was a little slide compartment, this was where the bar staff put sandwiches etc.

The bottom pool was also nice. The indoor pool was quite small but inside it also had a gym, sauna and a massage room. The temperature of the water in the indoor pool must have been at the warmest of 5 degrees.

There was a bar at the bottom of the hotel, this was quite well managed as there was 4 or 5 people working at one time. You were not waiting longer than 5 minutes to get a drink.

The water park was not far away, €15 in a taxi and the entrance to get in was €24.
This is a really nice place to go with the kids.

The town of Hersonissos is €8 in a taxi, which was not far away at all. The night life is brilliant, while not being too expensive at the same time! The is plenty to do in the town, e.g. Quad bikes, crazy sofa, jet ski, parachute.

The hotel has wifi, you can hardly get connection anywhere to be quite honest. The wifi costs €5 a week which is literally nothing.

The rooms are well cleaned, the maid comes in once a day to clean the rooms. And If you are not awake the will come back later and tidy it.

Meals.

Breakfast. Breakfast starts at 8 and finishes at 10, there is plenty of choice ranging from pancakes to full English.

Dinner. You could either go to the restaurant to eat dinner or go to the little snack bar at the bottom of the hotel. There is plenty to choose from, e.g. Pork, chicken, turkey, veal, lamb, kebab, fish, chips, potatoes etc.

Overall this in an excellent hotel and I will definitely be re visiting this hotel in the near future. A*

My family and I returned from the Annabelle Village on the 5th of July, after 2 weeks of sheer bliss. The hotel was exceptional, very clean, happy and helpful staff and such a beautiful setting. We all found the quality and standard of service in the restaurant top class. Our fear before we arrived to the hotel, was the dreaded sun-bed dash in the morning, but we didn't have to worry. One day we slept in till after 10am, to our relief when we arrived at the pool we still had our choice of beds.
Overall the holiday was fantastic, would definitely recommend this hotel.

We have just returned from a 2 week all inclusive break at the Annabelle resort in Hersonissos. Everything was great for a Greek hotel. Clean, tidy and very pleasant staff.
The hotel is nicely laid out with 2 pools, 3 bars (one swim up) and 2 restaurants. The Ambosia serves main meals and the taverna serves lunch, tea and cakes and is where you can have an a la carte meal (bookable in advance).
The food is good if a little limited at times. The Ambosia restaurant is large enough that we never had to wait for a table. The dining area spreads onto a nice balcony too if you like to eat in the open.
There are plenty of sun beds around both pools and on the beach. You can turn up at any time and always find beds. The beach is shingle and the sea was quite rough during our stay but still pleasant.
The hotel was fairly quiet, probably due to Greece's current hardships, but it made our stay even more relaxing.
There are plenty of activities in the hotels and watersports along the beach.
The hotel is in a great position, just 5mins walk from a few local bars and 30 mins walk along the coast road to Hersonissos centre. In the centre there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants making it perfect if u fancy a few nights out of the hotel. The prices were good, lots of bars were 2 euros for a large beer, around 7 euros for a pizza, 13 euros for greek mixed grill.
We did three trips, all of which were great in the own way.
We went horse riding on which you see beautiful views. We visited the palace at Knossss which was brilliant if you like history, and also a boat trip to Spinalonga which again was great if you like to find out about local history.
My only bug bare was that you had to pay 5 euros per week for to use WiFi! But if you go into town you can get it free in the bars when you get a beer.
All in all we had a great stay here and came home happy and relaxed.

Room Tip: There are plenty of steps running through the centre of the resort and the choice of room could depe...

Arrived on 22/6/12 for 7 nights. Absolutely first class holiday from start to finish. The sports and animation team were first class. Food, cleanliness, location and swimming pools were wonderful, especially the swim-up pool bar. Could always get a sun bed anytime of day. Was awarded blue flag for beach during our stay. Included in all inclusive were fresh flowers in our room, free safe deposit box in room, free fridge in room, beach and pool towels provided free. Lots going on at beach and lower pool or for a quiet area the swim up pool bar was the place to be. if you are one of the lucky ones going to annabelle village I am very envyious and wish it was me going again. Special thanks to Erika, Mario, Marco, Aurelio and the rest of the team for making our holiday so enjoyable.
